Wow! Who could believe that Chabad of Augusta is now ten-years old?

What an awesome journey these years have been! The friendships Chani and I formed and the bonds that were created have been extremely rewarding, they make all the hard work worthwhile.

With the focus now on the next ten years, I am pleased to announce the establishment the Circle of Friends club, which will insure that Chabad continues to meet the needs of our community for the next ten years and beyond.

Circle of Friends’ members become official sponsors of the most successful programs we do throughout the year.

When you choose a program that you wish to sponsor, your name will be listed as an official sponsor, and you and your immediate family may attend the program for free. (Of course, you may choose to remain anonymous.)

I realize that it is difficult for families with fixed incomes to donate to tzedakah.

But when you join Circle of Friends you donate by credit card in small increments each month – for whatever length of time you choose. Some of the sponsorships begin with as little as $20 per month!

Even if an official sponsorship is too difficult, you can still make a REAL difference by donating small amounts – even $10 per month would be a GREAT way to support all the important work Chabad does.

List of sponsorships:

·        Annual Shabbaton: $360

·        JLI adult ed. course: $500 for the year or $200 per course (there are 3 courses every year)

·        A scholarship for a student in Sunday / Hebrew School: $500

·        Chanukah on Ice: $360

·        Rosh Hashanah dinner: $300

·        Passover Seder: $360

·        Shabbat dinners, Sukah & Purim party: $250 per dinner
